Suddenly,

it seeps through the sinuses,

storms through the throat,

and smothers the esophagus,

like an unsatisfying line of dirty white snow

that was sliced six or seven times

prior with rancid seasons.

It gushes through perception,

sweeps the stomach

and scatters copious mist that showers the skeleton,

only to seize the insides

with a stance of bubbling lava

that waits to explode.
